/ˈmirək(ə)l/ | noun
A miracle is an unusual and significant event which requires the working of a supernatural agent and is performed for the purpose of authenticating the message or the messenger.
Miracles have long been a source of wonder and amazement. The Bible reports many miraculous events involving people (1 Kings 13:4-6), nature (Exodus 14:21-31), and even time and space (Joshua 10:12-14). But what exactly constitutes a miracle? And what do they tell us about God and how he works? Specifically, what do the miracles of Jesus tell us about Him and His ministry?
Jesus Christ performed many miracles during his three years of ministry on earth, but he saved the best for last. This miracle would not only be a sign and wonder revealing Jesus as the long-awaited Messiah, this would be the miracle that would change everything. All other miracles but a foretaste.
